About The Role
UGL are seeking an experienced
PIF Supervisor
to join our team on an ongoing basis working on a major Oil & Gas project.
Commencing in October, you will be working a 15/13 roster at Barrow Island, point of hire is Perth, WA.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and Lead: Directly manage and lead a team of Painter Blasters to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration in executing project tasks.
* Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation activities adhere to industry safety standards and company policies.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work meets project standards and specifications.
* Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements and deadlines.
* Communication: Foster effective communication within the team and collaborate with other discipline supervisors and project managers to address challenges and ensure smooth project progression.
* Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to activities, providing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.
* Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of activities, including daily reports, progress reports, and any required project documentation.
* 15:13 roster
* 12-hour days (per full shift worked)
About You
* NACE 2 (Essential)
* Proven experience in a supervisory position
* Strong understanding of QA/QC, preservation processes, and material care standards
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
