The role
Reporting to the Technical Delivery Lead, the L&D Trainer delivers engaging, effective induction and onboarding programs for our frontline consultants. This role ensures new hires receive a structured and comprehensive induction, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed. By supporting a smooth transition into the business, the L&D Trainer helps build a high performing, customer focused workforce.
Position Accountabilities
* Deliver high-impact induction programs that introduce new hires to our culture, values, systems, and service expectations in an engaging and meaningful way.
* Ensure a seamless onboarding experience through interactive learning that accelerates time to productivity and builds early confidence.
* Monitor and enhance program effectiveness by gathering feedback, tracking learner progress, and updating content based on evolving business needs.
* Leverage learning technologies such as the LMS and virtual training platforms to facilitate sessions, track participation, and report on onboarding outcomes.
* Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps, incorporating best practices, and evolving onboarding initiatives to boost new hire engagement and retention.
What Experience You'll Bring
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
* Proven experience delivering learning in both on-the-job and classroom environments
* Understanding of learning processes, theories and methodologies including adult learning principles and styles
* Highly developed interpersonal, written communication, and organisational skills
* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic service environment
* Highly developed interpersonal, written and organisational skills
* Skills in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications
* Demonstrated capacity for self-management, participative decision-making, team participation and the ability to accept, promote and manage change
Desirable
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
* Experience in the Banking, Finance, or Insurance industries
Location
Brisbane, North Lakes or Kawana
This role is available at any of our Brisbane and Sunshine Coast locations providing flexibility to choose the office that suits you. Our Toowong office is close to the city with easy public transport and parking options while our North Lakes offices are within walking distance of some of the north side's best retail locations. If you love a view of the water, why not consider our Kawana office on the edge of Lake Kawana and only a five minute drive to the closest beach.
