Due to exponential growth and diversification of our business, we are seeking a capable and driven Senior Project Architect to join our internal architectural firm – CQ Studio!
Expectations of the role:
Whilst reporting into the Design Director, lead a team of technicians on projects ranging from $100M - $500M+ in value.
Produce draft concept plans & working drawings for multi-rise residential projects.
Coordinate with our Projects team, architects, consultants & external contractors.
Assist in the management of the design team on your project, taking lead in upskilling and coordinating the team.
Knowledge of construction detailing.
Hands on preparation of CC documentation.
Ensure quality checks are completed at each stage.
Lead the management and delivery of all Construction documentation.
Client liaising and relationship management.
Interpreting needs and completing detailed design concepts.
Be the project lead, coordinating with consultants as well as supporting documentation when needed.
Tertiary Qualification in Architecture
Revit experience is essential
Building & Construction industry experience necessary
DA preparation to CC/IFC completion experience essential
Organisational skills with a strong ability to multitask
Experience working on large-scale residential projects
Mixed-Use / Retail experience is beneficial but not a necessity
Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards & NCC
