Labourpower Trade are seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters for our client's site in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.
Qualified Fitters with proven experience within manufacturing or a similar environment.
**About you**
The successful applicant/s will be confident in their ability to prioritise their workload, Fault Find/Troubleshoot & ensure machinery is in a safe state when working on it, all while under production pressures.
**About the Role**
Working in a team & reporting to the Maintenance & Reliability Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day troubleshooting & Maintenance of the facility.
You will be required to maintain equipment to enable maximum machine up-time, improve machinery to increase reliability & Demonstrate and demand a safe work culture.
**Your duties will include, but are not limited to**:
- Troubleshooting / Fault Finding
- Scheduled Preventative Maintenance as well as Breakdowns
- Maintenance of Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems, Conveying/Sorting Systems
- Assisting technicians / machine operators as required
- Daily meetings as required
**To be Successful, you will have**
- Relevant Trade Certificate
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in Steel packaging/Can Manufacturing, highly advantageous
- Proven & Strong knowledge of Troubleshooting & ability to prioritise workload
- Previous experience with stock control of relevant spare parts
