Overview
A rare opportunity exists for an accomplished aviation professional to join a highly experienced private flight department operating a Bombardier Global7500. This dual role combines Captain and Licensed Aircraft Engineer responsibilities, ensuring operational and technical excellence.
This is a long-term appointment within a privately owned, well-resourced operation conducting global missions. The successful candidate will be safety-driven, technically astute, and capable of operating in a discreet, service-focused environment.
Core Responsibilities
* Command the Global 7500 on worldwide operations to the highest professional and regulatory standards working with the Chief Pilot.
* Oversee the Global 7500's technical condition, maintenance planning, and liaison with Bombardier and authorised MROs.
* Perform or supervise line maintenance, troubleshooting, and MEL management.
* Manage flight planning, crew coordination, fuel, permits, and ground arrangements.
* Maintain compliance to ensure aircraft documentation is current.
* Uphold safety, confidentiality, and excellence across all operations.
Key Requirements
* CASA ATPL / FAA (or ICAO equivalent) with valid multi-engine instrument rating.
* Minimum 2,000 total hours, including substantial command experience in large-cabin corporate jets (Bombardier Global / Challenger, Gulfstream, or Falcon series).
* Prior corporate or private flight department experience is essential.
* CASA or ICAO-recognised B1/B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (dual or combined preferred).
* Demonstrated technical capability and understanding of modern avionics, maintenance planning, and aircraft systems.
* Proven experience in global private jet operations, including flight planning, permits, and owner liaison.
* Exceptional professionalism, communication, and discretion.
* Willingness to complete Global7500 type rating and manufacturer training upon appointment.
Remuneration
Highly competitive remuneration commensurate with experience, inclusive of travel allowances, professional development, and relocation support where required.

* Highly experienced Captain with both operational and engineering expertise on large-cabin corporate aircraft.
* Background in private or corporate flight departments.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills; able to manage flight, maintenance, and operational logistics.
* Comfortable working autonomously in global environments with minimal oversight.
* Discreet, reliable, and committed to long-term employment within a private corporate flight department.
* Preference for candidates with Bombardier type training, but not essential; equivalent Gulfstream or Falcon experience considered equally valuable.
