Six Degrees are excited to continue their longstanding partnership with HazardCo. HazardCo is a leading provider of both tech‐lead health and safety systems as well as advisory, to SME construction businesses in the residential construction space. Founded in New Zealand almost 20 years ago, they've expanded operations to Australia and the UK, with a simple mission - make safety simple, proactive and compliant for customers who may not have this capability in-house. In practice, this model is delivered by a team of safety advisors at varying levels, consulting on the day to day around safety, supported by digital product to help make safety simple.
About the role
The Senior Safety Advisor exists to help bridge the gap between legislation and compliance, with the practical, site specific solutions needed for operators in the resi‐construction environment. The role sits as part of an existing safety advisory team, and delivers a mix of practical consultation, troubleshooting and delivery to those on the ground. You can expect a mix of:
* Customer‐focused advice on H&S legislation, regulatory obligations, standards and accepted good practice
* Contributing to the digital content that HazardCo puts out across their blogs, systems and content (safety‐subject matter)
* Acting as a subject matter expert to cross‐functional peers across commercial and customer success
* Support strategic relationships with key customers, advisory bodies and regulatory
What we are looking for
* Tertiary qualification in the WHS space (Cert IV or similar)
* Experience in high risk industries – residential construction would be fantastic, yet equally comfortable to consider areas such as manufacturing, supply chain, infrastructure etc. with learning agility
* Strong communication skills, across written/verbal as well as the ability to simplify concepts to a non-technical audience
* Self‐driven, growth‐oriented mindset as the business continues to expand.
