About the Role
Engineering Trades Australia (ETA) is seeking an experienced Supervisor – Crane & Rigging to join our team, supporting operations across major WA mining and resource sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and safety-focused leader to work on a FIFO 2:1 roster from Perth, with exposure to diverse projects and long-term career progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Facilitate daily pre-starts and toolbox meetings.
* Supervise crane and rigging operations across site projects.
* Drive and lead a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with standards and KPIs.
* Liaise with clients to ensure service delivery and operational excellence.
* Review and approve timesheets, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met.
* Scope and prepare detailed lift studies.
* Complete weekly and monthly reporting requirements.
* Provide leadership, training, and coaching to operational teams.
* Promote team morale and address performance or safety concerns proactively.
What We're Looking For
* Proven supervisory experience in the crane and rigging industry.
* Strong background in safety leadership and compliance.
* Demonstrated ability to engage with customers and key stakeholders.
* High-level communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to plan, prioritise workloads, and deliver to deadlines.
* Cert IV in Training & Assessing (highly regarded).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
