**About the role and About You**
Strategic Lead - Web and Digital in a fun team, serving a vibrant multicultural community. You bring experience with Drupal sites, and we’ll provide great conditions and rewarding work.
Come and join us in the foodie capital of Melbourne. Greater Dandenong is a vibrant, wonderful municipality and our Council colleagues are deeply committed to making a difference and serving the local community. Our Comms & Engagement team is supportive and fun.
With two reports, this position provides strategic leadership of our digital channels, with a direct focus on our several web and intranet sites.
You’ll have colleagues to take the reins on social media and content creation, but we’re looking for someone who will take our Drupal sites up to the next level to support a great customer experience.
You’ll be an experienced digital comms professional with exceptional writing for web, good judgment and excellent project management skills. You’ll be friendly and build your network across Council quickly. You’ll have a passion for data and look for the insights about what it’s telling us, and make recommendations about what we should do next. A willingness to turn your hand to web updates, social media posts, EDMs, creating reels and other content will also be well regarded.
It will be demanding but there’s lots of latitude to shape this role. We provide genuine workplace flexibility to achieve work/life balance.
We’ll provide you with professional development, networking opportunities and the chance to make a difference. Plus, we have the best lunch options in Melbourne.
