Shared Services Support Officer (Grade 3)

Location: Dubbo

Start Date: ASAP

Contract End Date: 31 March Possibility of Extension

Hours: 35 hours per week

Pay Rate: $37.13 per hour + Super

Work Arrangement: Onsite (no hybrid/WFH)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Shared Services Support Officer to join the Transport Shared Services (TSS) team in Dubbo. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, customer-focused services by responding to enquiries and processing a high volume of transactions across multiple service channels.

You will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, contributing to overall service performance while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and strong customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service across multiple channels in a fast-paced shared services environment
* Process a high volume of varied enquiries and transactions accurately and efficiently
* Take ownership of customer enquiries, resolving matters at first contact where possible and escalating complex issues when required
* Work independently to meet individual performance targets while contributing to team objectives
* Use multiple computer-based systems and technology platforms to manage enquiries, transactions, and records
* Adapt to changing processes, systems, and service requirements as they evolve

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Previous contact centre or customer service experience (mandatory)
* Experience working in a customer-centric environment such as a contact centre, service centre, shared services, or corporate service function
* Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset
* Proven ability to manage fluctuating workloads while maintaining service quality
* Confidence using multiple computer systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly
* The ability to work autonomously while also contributing positively to a team environment
