Overview
Car to Bus: Licence Upgrade Program – Become a Kinetic Bus Driver. We're searching for new drivers to be the face of Kinetic and help us take people where they need to go as Australasia's largest and fastest-growing bus operator. No bus driving experience is required.
We'll pay you while we train you to upgrade your car licence to a Medium Rigid (MR) licence, followed by a five-week, hands-on induction program. This includes a mix of classroom and on-road training. You'll also receive ongoing support over the next 12 months to gain a nationally recognised qualification. All you need to bring is your smile, energy, passion, and commitment to creating awesome experiences for our customers, communities, and teammates.
The opportunity is open to highly motivated individuals of all genders and backgrounds who enjoy working with people and delivering great service.
Responsibilities
Drive a range of services, including general routes, charters and special events, with a focus on customer service and safe, reliable journeys.
Support ticket sales, customer interaction, and community connection as part of the service delivery.
What We're Looking For
Excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with the public
Must hold a Tasmanian Driver Licence for at least 2 years
Willingness to obtain a Tasmanian Driving Authorisation
Willingness to undertake a pre-employment physical and medical history check
Australian work rights
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
