Job Description:
Execute planned and unplanned maintenance activities on fixed plant within a mining environment. Optimize production, equipment performance and availability, improving reliability for future growth.
* Carry out routine maintenance, inspections and checks to Surface/Underground electrical equipment and instrumentation
* Assist in resolution of Electrical issues affecting equipment performance and availability
* Review and update maintenance schedule plans and equipment history
* Provide Electrical trade skills to perform care maintenance tasks within the electrical maintenance area
* Develop and revise operating and maintenance procedures
* Communicate plant status to appropriate departments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Australian recognised Electrical Trade qualification (essential)
Air-conditioning and refrigeration Trade qualification (desirable)
Instrumentation experience (desirable)
South Australian A-class Electrical Workers license (or ability to obtain)
Experience working in a similar role with exposure to Fixed Plant (preferred)
Ability to work autonomously, or as part of a team
Ability to confidently make decisions relating to your work, or escape if needed
Adaptable and responsive to change, as well as learning new information
