Parts Coordinator
About the Role:
The Parts Coordinator will be responsible for supporting mobile and fixed plant maintenance teams by ensuring timely sourcing, ordering, receipting, and coordination of critical parts and materials. This role is essential to maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring smooth maintenance delivery across site operations.
1. Coordinate parts for planned maintenance, shutdowns, and servicing.
2. Support urgent breakdown repairs by expediting critical components.
3. Monitor work order demand and follow up supplier delivery timelines.
4. Prioritize urgent requirements with Maintenance Supervisors.
5. Raise purchase requisitions and orders in Pronto/SAP systems.
The Part Coordinator also assist with:
• Resolve picking slip discrepancies support goods receipting RTS
• Assist stocktakes cycle counts stock documentation flag slow-moving obsolete stock Supply Planning teams maintain accurate records purchase orders manifests MSDS audit trails ensure data accuracy inventory invoicing work allocations communicate efficiently between Workshop Planners Supervisors Warehouse Procurement suppliers participate toolbox planning shutdown meetings following WHS obligations log hazards incidents SAI360 assist warehouse tasks general stores duties experience required field heavy industry knowledge OEM manuals diagrams components Business environment highly organized attention detail manage multiple projects deadlines prioritize effectively excellent communication skills ability interpret technical documents diagrams tables building strong relationships stakeholder engagement provide regular updates delays shortages risks schedule team culture prioritizes safety achieving best output clear career path training development opportunities available
