The role of Community Coordinator involves facilitating collaboration between stakeholders and project teams to drive high-quality stakeholder engagement outcomes. This position requires effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Stakeholder Engagement: Provide support to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders in support of project design and delivery.
* Communication Support: Assist in delivering stakeholder engagement activities, including providing administrative support for meetings and briefings.
* Community Information Centre: Manage day-to-day requirements of our new Community Information Centre, ensuring information availability, relevance, and currency for project stakeholders.
* Reporting: Prepare reports and summaries related to communications and stakeholder engagement activities, including compliance and evaluation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree or equivalent in communications, community engagement, or a related field.
* Experience working with technical concepts and/or construction teams on large-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
* Solutions-focused problem-solving skills and the ability to remain flexible as priorities change or evolve.
* Sound project management skills and self-motivation for individual tasks.
