About the Role
We're looking for a Data Governance Coordinator to support customer data quality, compliance, and governance across a national organisation. This role suits someone who enjoys improving processes, solving problems, and working with a variety of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor, analyse, and report on customer data governance activities
* Develop processes and metrics to improve data quality
* Maintain documentation including policies, standards, and controls
* Support compliance activities such as data handling, security requirements, and user access
* Analyse performance metrics and assist with system and process enhancements
* Prepare management reports and coordinate governance tasks
* Maintain system guidelines, communications, and support data integration/migration work
About You:
* Experience in data governance, data management, or system operations
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skill
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platform
* Basic project coordination skills and process mapping experience
* Reporting and analysis capability
* Understanding of data governance frameworks, data privacy and security regulations
* Experience with analytics or visualisation tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
* Background in a regulated industry or exposure to change management
* Detail-focused, organised, and proactive
* A clear communicator with strong problem-solving skills
* Comfortable working in a changing environment and within cross-functional teams
