You'll join an agile, entrepreneurial team inside one of Australia's biggest and most innovative retailers. Boasting two thriving online communities of everyday Australians who sample products, review brands, share food inspiration and spark authentic conversations every day. With over 3 million product reviews (and counting), they are sitting on one of the richest real‐time consumer data assets in the country. Due to an exciting expansion phase, they are looking for someone to turn this goldmine into insights that matter—fueling product innovation, community health, brand strategy and experiences millions of customers will love.
What you'll do
In this newly created Community Insights & Strategy Specialist position on a 12‐month contract you will be the storyteller, analyst and strategist who brings meaning to the millions of data points created by our members.
* Dive into reviews, recipes, campaign data and UGC to uncover trends, behaviours and opportunities
* Translate complex analysis into simple, clear, compelling stories to drive actionable insights for key stakeholders
* Identify risks, opportunities and emerging patterns before anyone else sees them
* Partner with product, marketing and retail media teams to measure campaign and NPD performance
* Craft quarterly reports and strategic insights that influence high‐profile, business‐critical programs
* Champion the voice of the customer so we can create better experiences together, for a better tomorrow
About you

* A confident analyst, comfortable exploring large, multiple datasets to marry the points together

* Collaborative and comfortable working across marketing, product, analytics, community and external partners
What you bring
Essential
* 5+ years in insights, research, data or analytics—ideally agency‐side with exposure to FMCG/consumer goods
* A relevant tertiary qualification (Business, Marketing, Research, Analytics or similar)
* Strong communicator with excellent written and presentation skills
* Highly proficient in Microsoft/Google tools (Excel/Sheets, PPT/Slides)
* Comfortable managing insights projects end‐to‐end
Desirable
* Experience in retail, FMCG, e‐commerce or online communities
* Exposure to SQL or BigQuery
* Familiarity with analytics/statistical tools (R, Python)
