Job Title: Structural Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced structural engineer to join our buildings team in Wagga Wagga. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural designs, inspections, assessments, and reporting for various building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement structural design solutions for building projects
* Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with building codes and standards
* Prepare and submit reports on project progress and findings
* Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver successful projects
* Manage and lead teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Critical Skills and Qualifications:
* A relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
* 3-6 years' industry experience as a structural engineer, with specific depth of experience in building design projects in a consulting environment
* Experience utilising a broad range of skills across various types of buildings and materials
* Membership of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration is desirable
* Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards
* Ability and willingness to mentor junior engineers
