APG Workforce is currently seeking compassionate and customer-focused Client Service Officers to join the Customer Foundation team within NSW Trustee & Guardian, based in Parramatta.
About the Role
As a Client Service Officer, you will manage a customer caseload and provide high-quality, empathetic and timely support to customers and stakeholders. You will work closely with customers, families, and internal teams to help manage financial matters, develop budgets and support plans, and deliver positive customer outcomes.
This role requires strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, sound judgement, and the ability to work within a structured and highly supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of customers requiring financial management support
* Develop financial strategies, budgets, and medium to long-term planning solutions
* Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand individual needs and circumstances
* Respond to enquiries and resolve issues in a professional and empathetic manner
* Work collaboratively across internal divisions to achieve positive customer outcomes
* Maintain accurate records and utilise internal systems and processes effectively
* Escalate complex matters where required
* Contribute to a customer-focused culture aligned with NSW Trustee & Guardian values
The team supports a broad range of customers including:
* NDIS participants
* Customers in aged care
* Young people previously in care
* Customers with significant assets or property
* Adults under Financial Management Orders
About You
* Experience supporting vulnerable people, people with disability, or older persons
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* The ability to manage sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism
* Experience handling complex enquiries or case management activities
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Essential Requirements
* Understanding of NSW Trustee & Guardian services and customer base
* Willingness to participate in a rotating phone roster between 9:00am 5:00pm
* Willingness to have calls and emails monitored for quality assurance and training purposes
* Ability to complete required pre-employment checks
