On-going contract work with a highly regarded company committed to delivering high-quality stormwater projects across Adelaide.
We are currently seeking a skilled Excavator / Loader Operator with HR licence and tipper experience to join the team. This is a night shift position with excellent overtime opportunities and potential to transition to permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavators and loaders safely and efficiently on civil/stormwater projects
- Carry out tipper duties and truck loading/unloading (HR licence required)
- Excavate trenches, pits, and assist with pipelaying/drainage works
- Perform routine checks and maintain equipment as required
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines
- Assist with hands-on site duties when required – this role is not 100% machine operating
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and site procedures
Key Requirements
- Proven excavator operating experience (essential)
- Loader experience highly beneficial
- HR licence with tipper driving experience
- Previous stormwater/pipelaying experience preferred
- Must be able to pass a police check and full medical
- Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Physically fit to handle hands-on site work and variable weather conditions
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekend shifts (every second Sunday, 12pm–8pm)
