Australian Health Professionals (AHP) are seeking a passionate, experienced Allied Health professional to join our leadership team as Area Manager - Allied Health Services, overseeing service delivery across Aged Care, Community, and NDIS clients in North Queensland. With base locations available in Townsville, Cairns, or Mackay, this strategic non-clinical role is your opportunity to step into a meaningful position that shapes lives - not just for clients, but for the clinicians you’ll lead. About the Role: This is a primarily non-clinical, operational leadership role perfect for someone who thrives on mentoring others, driving quality outcomes, and managing service delivery in a dynamic healthcare setting. Permanent full-time: Monday to Friday - 38 hours per week! Lead multidisciplinary teams (Physiotherapists, OTs, Speech Pathologists, Dieticians & more). Drive high-quality care across Aged Care, Community, and NDIS services. Oversee operational performance, compliance, and local workforce planning. Be the key local liaison for client sites, partnerships, and community stakeholders. Mentor, supervise/manage and onboard clinicians in your area. Requirements/Compliance: General AHPRA-registered allied health professional. 2 years in a leadership, coordination or senior clinician role. Experience in Aged Care, Community, and/or NDIS services. Strong understanding of clinical compliance (NDIS, AN-ACC, CHSP, HCP), however support available from leadership/head-office team. High-level communication & leadership capability.
