Primary objective
To provide subject matter advice and support as part of the Learning Development Unit to coordinate, develop and evaluate
high quality, contemporary e-learning training and assessment products. Lead the development and production of
multimedia projects for the NTPF College.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Coordinate projects related to the development, implementation and maintenance of the College Learning Management
System (LMS) content and reporting capabilities.
2. Review, evaluate and provide recommendations on the continuous improvement of online training resources using
contemporary workplace approaches.
3. Utilise professional multimedia applications and high-end equipment in the production of online learning material (e.g.
Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate 360, Web Premium or similar).
4. Provide guidance, support and training to the eLearning Developer when needed
5. Contribute to the development of framework, procedures and strategies surrounding the development, delivery and
evaluation of eLearning materials.
6. Design, develop, edit and produce high quality graphics, videos, still imageries and animations for use in online courses
and other multimedia projects.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Extensive knowledge and demonstrated expertise of all aspects of multimedia, graphic design and rich media content
including experience using video/film production software.
2. Extensive proven experience in designing, developing and producing educational online courses using authoring software
such as Adobe Captivate and/or Articulate Storyline.
3. Highly developed organisational and project management skills, working with conflicting priorities and where various
stakeholders are involved.
4. Demonstrated ability to provide support, guidance, training and work collaboratively in a team as well as work
autonomously whilst meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
5. Demonstrated experience in reviewing, evaluating and providing recommendations of online courses and reporting
capabilities.
6. Demonstrated capability to effectively contribute to the development of procedures and frameworks of eLearning
projects.
Desirable
1. Qualification in multi-media, graphic design or equivalent.
2. Qualification in Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
