Overview
Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.
SWIMMING INSTRUCTOR
– Casual (no formal swimming qualifications required; training will be provided to the successful candidate)
The Role
As the Swimming Instructor you will have the drive to implement and deliver quality swimming and water safety lessons in a safe and friendly manner in accordance with the GRALC Learn to Swim program.
The instructor will participate in the relevant training opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Our students are the heart of this school and what motivates us every day.
The preferred candidate will be mindful of each student\'s growth while striving for the best they can be.

You have a passion for swimming and want to pass that knowledge to provide a skill for life.
You are flexible with your availability, shifts times below;
Mornings - 9:00 to 12:00 – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday:
Afternoons - 3:30 to 6:30 - Monday to Friday:
You are fun loving, enjoy working with children of all ages and have great communication skills

Qualifications you need
Working with Children Check Clearance Number and current CPR certification.

Salary and conditions
Commencement ordinary hourly rate $38.1303 (inclusive of casual loading), penalty rates for any weekend work (Grade 5) plus superannuation.
Special conditions
This position is designated as a child-related position.
It is an offence under NSW Legislation for a person convicted of a serious sex offence to apply for this position.
Only those with current rights to work in Australia may apply.
