Job Specification
As the part-time Pharmacist, you'll take the lead in the day-to-day operations of this community pharmacy. Working alongside a consistent and capable team—including a dispense technician and 2–3 pharmacy assistants—you'll be responsible for:
* Dispensing prescriptions and OTC medications
* Delivering high-quality customer care and medication counselling
* Managing WebsterPaks (packed off-site) and liaising with nursing homes
* Overseeing all pharmacy operations as the sole Pharmacist on duty
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals when needed
This role offers 3 days per week, with shop hours being 9am–5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am–1pm on Sundays.
Skills Required
* Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
* Ability to work autonomously as the sole Pharmacist
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Familiarity with Fred dispensing software
* Previous experience with WebsterPaks and working in a busy pharmacy (script trade of 150–200/day)
