As a Wok Chef at The Star Gold Coast, you will work alongside a talented culinary team in a fast‐paced environment, preparing high‐quality dishes that showcase a blend of Cantonese, Beijing and Szechuan cuisine.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of high‐quality dishes, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring efficient workflow.
* Collaborate with the culinary team to execute menu items with precision and consistency.
* Commit to continuous learning, staying up‐to‐date with culinary trends and techniques.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with a wok in a busy kitchen.
* Excellent time‐management and organisational skills.
* Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
* Passion for the culinary arts and genuine love for food.
* Certificate in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
