**Your main responsibilities will include**:
- Providing leadership to front-line staff in the form of sales management, performance management, team-building, coaching and training.
- Ensuring all direct reports receive appropriate training certification and guidance.
- Driving cross sales and portfolio growth within your branch.
- Monitoring and supervising all transactions and procedures, ensuring adherence to Business standards and policies.
- Acting as the local compliance representative where required, managing communication in regards to compliance matters and implementing and monitoring compliance policies and procedures.
- Managing operational risk within the branch, including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control.
- Assisting the Branch Manager in setting team targets and ensuring they are met.
Requirements
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- The Higher School Certificate or equivalent certification/education. Additionally tertiary qualifications desirable.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience within a Financial Services or Retail Branch environment, with previous exposure to leading and managing within a sales driven environment.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Branch compliance and audit requirements.
- The ability to lead, supervise, mentor and work effectively with a team.
- Exceptionally strong communication and interpersonal skills.
