The Opportunity
This dynamic role within Aurizn provides technical administration and support for Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) environments, ensuring secure, reliable, and effective mission planning across Defence platforms. The successful candidate will support continuous improvement initiatives, maintain strict security and compliance standards, and deliver high-quality technical support and training to end users.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operate and maintain JMPS systems in consultation with stakeholders.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across fixed and deployed environments.
* Maintain system documentation and configuration records.
* Collaborate with Defence clients and industry partners to gather and communicate requirements.
* Ensure adherence to Defence security standards and ITAR requirements.
* Manage access control, patching, and compliance logs.
* Support audits and accreditation processes.
* Plan and deliver user training and refresher sessions.
* Occasional travel in support of training exercises (~2 weeks/1-2 per year).
What we are seeking:
* Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Systems Administration or related discipline.
* NV2 is required.
* Experience with Windows OS administration, ICT security, and networking.
* Familiarity with Defence ICT environments and mission planning systems.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Positive stakeholder feedback on technical and operational support, and training delivery.
* Deliver high quality work on time, confidently juggling competing priorities and deadlines.
Due to a requirement for Defence Clearance to undertake the duties of the role, Australian Citizenship is required.
