About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Data Solution Architect to support the design and delivery of enterprise‐scale data solutions within a complex, highly regulated environment. This role is suited to a senior professional with deep expertise in data architecture, Oracle technologies, and integration patterns, who can translate business needs into secure, scalable and sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Design conceptual and detailed ICT architecture solutions aligned to enterprise standards and principles
* Ensure solutions comply with approved architecture through review, assurance and formal sign off
* Develop solutions that meet performance, scalability, security and sustainability requirements
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to delivery, product and platform teams
* Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions
* Contribute to business cases and planning processes through architecture inputs
* Produce and maintain architecture artefacts such as conceptual and logical designs
* Identify and manage architectural risks and technical debt
* Support knowledge transfer to ensure effective use of deliverables
Essential Requirements
* Expert level knowledge of Oracle RDBMS
* Minimum 5 years experience working with Oracle-based data warehouses
* Minimum 5 years experience with integration technologies and data flow across multiple data stores
* Minimum 5 years experience in Data Warehouse architecture roles
* Understanding of the care economy
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
* Architecture certifications such as TOGAF or equivalent
* Experience in government or highly regulated environments
* Demonstrated experience delivering complex ICT solutions within large scale environments
Additional Information
* Up to 40 hours per week
* Hybrid working arrangement with formal work from home agreement required
* Baseline security clearance
* Participation in organisational shutdown periods and observance of public holidays required
