Warehouse Manager Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Manager to oversee the collection and distribution of food in Perth. The ideal candidate will be competent, enthusiastic, and have a proven Christian faith.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage vehicle movements for collecting and distributing 5 tonnes of food per week, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high standards of efficiency.
2. Sourcing, maintaining, retaining, and managing volunteers for driving trucks and sorting/packing food, leveraging their skills and experience to drive business growth.
3. Expand the distribution network by engaging new churches with the Community Care Coordinator, fostering strategic partnerships that increase our reach and impact.
4. Initiative to find new food sources for growth, developing innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our community.
5. Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse, adhering to health and safety protocols and minimizing waste.
6. Attend online meetings, training sessions, and prepare reports, utilizing technology to enhance communication and collaboration.
