A well-established, sound company has an opportunity for you to join a successful team. This is a full-time, Gold Coast-based position in a centrally located corporate office.
We are seeking an experienced accountant, for the preparation of management reporting such as profit and loss, trial balance, balance sheet, general compliance reporting, cash flow management and projection, and filing of BASs.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the preparation of
• Weekly reporting
• Monthly reporting
• Year End Accounting
• Management of Asset register
Qualifications
• 3 years’ experience in Australia practicing CA or CPA qualified or similarly qualified and experienced .
• Experience in the building and construction industry is preferred ,not essential .
Applicants must demonstrate all-round skills including presentation, documentation, and the ability to coordinate a variety of business structures and entities, including inter-entity transactions. It is also important to demonstrate a proven ability to successfully execute financial strategies.
A key component to your success in this role is your ability to think independently and deliver high-quality work on a timely basis.
Your eye for detail and an ability to do whatever is needed to get the job done in a unique team atmosphere will see you win this role.
You will work with other staff in a team environment and consult with management and third parties on a range of business strategies.
It is critical you are able to develop, establish and directly execute financial policies to support overall company policies and objectives. Knowledge of financial and accounting reporting systems, along with advanced skills in Excel will be an advantage.
A high attention to detail and the ability to build strong relationships across a wide spectrum of internal and external accounts. The successful applicant will be a confident individual with outstanding communication.
This is a permanent full-time position working in a progressive office based in Southport. The position is available to start.
