**Position Overview**:
As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our bar operations, including staff management, inventory control, menu development, and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a creative and driven individual who can bring fresh ideas to our beverage offerings while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of bartenders and bar-backs to deliver exceptional service and uphold our company standards.
- Develop and implement innovative cocktail menus, ensuring a balance of classic favourites and unique creations that appeal to our diverse clientele.
- Manage inventory levels and ordering to minimise waste and maximise profitability.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among staff members.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed expectations with every interaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, continually seeking opportunities for improvement and growth.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a high-volume bar or restaurant environment.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, and craft cocktails, with a passion for mixology and beverage innovation.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management and cost control techniques.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Certification in responsible service of alcohol: RSA is required.
