Electrical Technicians are pivotal in maintaining rail networks' integrity.
The position is based at Nowergup, where you will oversee the installation, upkeep, and repair of onboard signalling systems across multiple fleets operating on the network.
Your role entails working with complex train control systems, networking equipment, and monitoring gear. Routine maintenance, inspections, and testing of these systems are also part of your duties. You will diagnose, replace, and update defective components to ensure reliable operation.
Additionally, post-work testing and validation will be required as necessary. The Maintenance Management System must be updated with all work carried out.
Safety protocols adherence by following safety rules, regulations, and operational procedures is indispensable.
About this role:
* Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent electrical trades certificate issued by a recognised Australian training organisation)
* Unrestricted Electrical Workers Licence - WA
