This role involves working alongside experienced farm staff, learning all aspects of pig care, livestock production, and animal health management.
* Caring for Pigs: You'll be responsible for feeding, monitoring, and caring for pigs to ensure top-notch animal health and welfare.
* Health Checks and Treatments: You'll perform regular health checks, administer treatments as advised, and follow vaccination programs.
* Maintenance and Hygiene: You'll maintain clean pens, equipment, and facilities to the highest standards.
* Data Recording: Accurately record animal health and production data.
* Biosecurity and Safety: Learn and apply biosecurity and safety practices.
You'll also have the opportunity to earn a Certificate III in Pork Production, receive discounts at leading retailers, and become part of a supportive and knowledgeable farm team.
