Role Overview
As the Management Accountant, you'll divide your time between BAU financial accounting responsibilities and strategic commercial projects. You'll play a key role in supporting the organisation as it evolves, implements new systems, and strengthens its finance capability.
This position offers broad exposure across financial reporting, commercial analysis, business partnering, and planning activities, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the month-end process including reporting, journals, accruals, payroll, and reconciliations
* Prepare management reports with clear, insightful commentary for senior stakeholders
* Partner with business leaders to deliver financial analysis that supports operational and commercial decisions
* Strengthen internal controls by identifying gaps and implementing practical, scalable solutions
* Support costing models, pricing reviews, product profitability analysis, and margin improvement initiatives
* Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to identify growth and efficiency opportunities
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling, balance sheet work, and cashflow analysis
* Contribute to business case development for new initiatives, product lines, and commercial expansion
* Drive process improvements, workflow redesign, standardisation, and automation across finance operations
Candidate Profile
You are a technically strong accountant with hands-on month-end experience and the confidence to communicate with senior stakeholders. You may currently be in financial services or a business advisory firm, and you enjoy working with data, improving processes, and engaging with non-financial teams.
