Job Title: Night Auditor
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Auditor to join our team. As a critical part of the hotel's night operations, you will be responsible for creating a warm and personalised welcome experience for our guests overnight.
About This Role
In this key position, you will ensure that the general safety and security of guests, staff, and the property is maintained at all times. You will welcome our late arrival guests and farewell to our early departures, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's overnight operation, maintaining guest satisfaction and the safety and security of the property.
Key Responsibilities
* To take initiative to ensure positive and productive interactions with our customers, actively resolving complaints and challenges presented by customers.
* Undertake daily reconciliation of the Hotel's trading, including checking and preparing reports, completing audits, and collating the necessary paperwork for departures.
* Prepare and distribute relevant reports to relevant departments, managing and confirming reservation details and accounts for in-house guest details ensuring all details are recorded accurately.
* Provide efficient service for guest registration and departure by checking in and out guests as required.
Requirements
* A night owl who enjoys working with a team
* Ability to lead and step into the Assistant Night Manager role as required
* Exceptional customer service & communication skills
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
* A hands-on team player with a can-do attitude
* Initiates contact and establishes rapport easily
* Willingness to take ownership and have the initiative to carry out different tasks as required
* A good understanding of finance and accounting practices
* The ability to coordinate multiple tasks whilst maintaining attention to detail
* Your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
* A current full manual drivers licence is essential
* Knowledge of Opera Cloud is a bonus
* An ability to work 11:00 pm to 7:00 am and the flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays
