Responsibilities
* Champion Akamai's Cloud Computing vision and value proposition with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
* Develop a strategic sales plan that encompasses market development, partnerships, and product development.
* Lead customer engagements that differentiate Akamai's services at all levels within enterprise customers.
* Collaborate with Akamai Sales and Pre‐Sales leaders to develop and execute opportunity plans for large enterprise clients.
* Develop deep understanding of cloud computing, product development, and go‐to‐market initiatives to lead in cloud computing.
Qualifications
* Minimum 8–10 years of sales experience in cloud services (infrastructure or software) in the B2B enterprise market.
* Strong understanding of existing and emerging cloud technologies.
* Ability to collaborate with partners and customers to generate sales opportunities.
* Proficiency in executing a sales methodology that challenges conventional thinking and creates a differentiated sales experience.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Demonstrated high ethics, integrity, and personal willpower.
