Position Profile
Promotes the health and wellbeing of children, families and specific community groups using a range of health promotion, health surveillance and early intervention strategies that are based on the principles of Primary Health care and service priorities.
To Be Successful You Will Have
* Possession of, or substantial progression towards, the attainment of a Graduate Certificate in Child and Adolescent Health Nursing through and accredited educational institutional.
* Understanding of the Principles of Primary Health Care and its application to practice.
* Effective interpersonal written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate across a diverse spectrum of the population.
* Knowledge and understanding of cultural issues and social determinants, particularly relating to Aboriginal and culturally linguistically diverse communities in regional areas.

The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient-facing roles - on fixed term or permanent contracts at various locations.
