Senior Café Manager
Line of Lode Café – Broken Hill
We're looking for a Senior Café Manager to join Line of Lode Café, located at the Miners Memorial in Broken Hill.
Line of Lode is a destination venue welcoming locals, visitors, and tour groups from across Australia. This role suits someone who is confident running a busy service, enjoys working with tourism operators, and can lead a team while maintaining professional standards in a relaxed but well-run environment.
A key part of the role is managing regular tourism groups, including a weekly train visit, so experience in tourism, group bookings, or destination venues is a strong advantage.
The role includes:
• Running day-to-day café operations
• Leading and supporting front-of-house staff
• Being present on the floor during service
• Managing rosters and shift changes
• Coordinating group bookings and tour visits
• Maintaining service standards during busy periods
About you:
• Proven experience managing a café or hospitality venue
• Confident leading a team and running service
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable working with locals, visitors, and tour groups
• Professional, reliable, and calm under pressure
• Available to work weekends
Tourism or destination-venue experience is highly regarded.
What we offer:
• Full-time role
• Salary $75,000–$80,000 + super, based on experience
