Relief Treatment Plant & Forklift Operator
Timberlink Australia & New Zealand is a sustainableleading softwood timber products manufacturing and distribution business, employing over 600 people. Our world class manufacturing sites are located close to some of the best renewableplantation pine resources in the world - Bell Bay in Tasmania & Tarpeena in South Australia. Our fit‐for‐purpose indoor and outdoor plantation pine products are suitable for building new homes, renovation projects and other industrial manufacturing applications including packaging, pallets, and furniture components.
About the role
Our Tasmanian mill is situated in Bell Bay (about half an hour from Launceston) and currently has over 170 employees on site. Due to continued growth in the business, we are now searching for a skilled Relief Treatment Plant & Forklift Operator to join our team working on day shift Monday to Thursday, with flexibility to rotate onto shift as required.
What we require you to have
* Valid Forklift licence with experience moving lengths of material (timber or wood product highly preferable – minimum 2 years' experience
* Previous experience working around Treatment of products highly beneficial
* An outstanding safety record and ability to demonstrate these safety practices
* An eye for detail and accuracy
* Own car and licence
* Exceptional communication, numeric and literacy skills
* Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
