Overview
Site Engineer role with Fulton Hogan Utilities, based in Melbourne, Victoria. You will join the BFHI JV delivery team supporting key water infrastructure projects across Melbourne's South East. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive your career with on-the-job skill development and coaching.
Responsibilities
* Complete take-offs and prepare tender scope of works
* Prepare RFQ packages and coordinate site visits with Sub-contractors
* Lead on the preparation of preliminary construction schedules
* Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the ITP and closed-out to specified requirements
* Identify potential claims (variations/EOT) and prepare for submission to Client
* Prepare subcontract packages and administer to fulfil site requirements
* Cost control, monitoring productivities and forecasting costs to complete
Qualifications
* A degree level qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil)
* Demonstrated previous experience in Engineering, working on construction projects in Water Infrastructure, Water or Wastewater Treatment Plants (preferred)
* Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
* A solid performer, with professional acumen and exceptional communication skills
* A strong safety focus and flexibility to operate between numerous projects
