The Opportunity
We are seeking a Lead Property Lawyer to join and lead our conveyancing and property team based in Warners Bay, with flexibility to work from home each week.
In this role, you will lead a capable and collaborative team comprising:
* A Senior Licensed Conveyancer managing her own matters
* A Licensed Conveyancer managing her own matters
* Dedicated support staff
You will play a key leadership role while also managing your own files, particularly complex matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a diverse caseload, including complex property matters such as option agreements and commercial/industrial conveyancing
* Provide guidance and mentorship to conveyancers, assisting with complex issues as they arise
* Work closely with the Director and stakeholders, who will support and mentor you in the role.
What We're Looking For
First and foremost, we value what we call "AAA":

In addition, you will ideally have:
* 3–7 years' post-admission experience (we welcome more experienced candidates)
* Strong experience in property law, including residential, commercial and industrial matters.
* The ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a supportive team.
* Excellent communication and drafting skills.
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience in business sales and purchases.
* Experience in leasing matters.
* Experience in off the plan matters.
* Experience in acting for developers.
