About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a high‐performing project team on‐site.
Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will play a key role in driving safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with HSE systems, and fostering a proactive safety culture across all site operations. This is a hands‐on role where you'll work closely with operational teams and subcontractors in a dynamic, high‐risk environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the implementation of site‐based HSE management plans and systems
* Coach and guide operational teams on safe work practices and compliance requirements
* Review and monitor SWMS, permits to work, and high‐risk activities
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and field observations
* Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions
* Support delivery of site inductions, training, and safety communications
* Maintain accurate HSE documentation, reporting, and records
* Monitor subcontractor compliance with HSE requirements
* Assist in preparation for internal and external audits
* Promote a strong, proactive safety culture across all site activities
* Support injury management and return‐to‐work processes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Must be based in South Australia
* 2–5 years' experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role
* Background in construction, civil, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects
* Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (essential)
* Strong understanding of HSE legislation and compliance requirements
* Experience working in high‐risk, live project environments
* Ability to engage, influence, and build strong relationships on‐site
* Strong reporting, investigation, and documentation skills
* Current Driver's Licence
* Experience on wind farm or renewable energy projects
* ICAM investigation training
* Internal auditing experience
* Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
