About Our Client
Our client is an Australian-owned manufacturer of premium internal and external shading systems, producing all custom-made products in-house across their VIC and QLD sites. They specialise in high-quality, trade-only window furnishing solutions.
Job Description
* Oversee daily production operations across VIC & QLD sites
* Drive efficiency, output, and quality through modernised processes
* Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
* Manage production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
* Implement and optimise ERP workflows (including Blind Matrix)
* Lead, mentor, and develop multi-site production teams
* Maintain WHS, environmental, and quality compliance
* Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Directors
* Improve communication loops between production and customer-facing teams
* Track and report on key KPIs (OTIF, yield, efficiency, cost-per-unit)
* Champion a clean, organised, and safety-first culture
* Support organisational transformation and operational scalability
The Successful Applicant
A successful Production Manager should have:
* Proven experience in production management within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
* Multi-site leadership experience (or readiness to step into it)
* Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, workflow optimisation, and KPI management
* ERP capability (Blind Matrix preferred but not essential)
* Demonstrated ability to coach teams and uplift culture
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with experience driving transformation
