Whites Hill State College are seeking an innovative and strategic Head of Department - Student Services for the 2026 school year with possible extension.

Your Role
In this role, you will influence whole-school improvement through the following activities:
* Lead and guide evidence-informed initiatives to enhance student achievement, behaviour, attendance, and engagement, ensuring strong learning outcomes for all.
* Support the Head of School - Primary and College Principal through timely and accurate data analysis, reporting, and returns.
* Embed tiered support systems that address academic, social-emotional, and behavioural needs.
* Promote and uphold high expectations for student conduct, achievement, and staff professionalism.
* Set and maintain high standards for student and staff performance.
* Monitor student progress and behaviour, leading proactive interventions, case management, and support planning in collaboration with staff and families.
* Engage parents and staff to develop strategies that improve learning, achievement, and attendance.
* Drive data-informed practice by preparing and analysing data to guide staff and support continuous improvement.
* Apply relevant legislation, departmental policy, and whole-school processes to promote student success and staff wellbeing.
