Job Overview:
As a Participant Support Officer, you will play a vital role in communicating with and providing straightforward advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage participant matters by actioning planning tasks
* Provide counter/reception support for the local office including participant enquiries in self-help kiosks and online support
* Resolve customer enquiries, provide information and/or refer customers to appropriate government or community services
* Coordinate appointments with Agency office facilities and ensure they are accessible for participants
* Undertake research and investigation activities and prepare associated reports and correspondence
* Conduct data entry activities and ensure follow-up is completed
* Receive and record complaints and other feedback in the NDIA Business systems
Requirements:
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
* Effective communication skills
* Capacity to manage conflict and difficult conversations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
* Initiative and ability to work independently
* Capacity to learn new systems and processes
* Strong customer service skills
This role offers a competitive rate and full-time hours. The initial contract duration is 12 months, with the possibility of an extension.
