About Your Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Acquisition, you will contribute to driving growth by collaborating to expand Scope's market presence, build strong referral pathway partnerships and attract new business.
Your Key Focus
* Collaborating to build business development capability across Client Acquisition and Retention and more broadly across Scope
* Proactively engage with and genuinely listen to clients, their support networks and stakeholders to inform plans, initiatives, tools and solutions to drive growth and expand Scope's market share
* Train and coach others to develop their business development skills, with emphasis on client opportunity identification and development
* Confidently apply research and analysis techniques to conduct competitor analysis and market research to inform business strategy
* Implement relevant risk management practices; applying risk acumen in the design, development and delivery of client acquisition plans, initiatives, tools and solutions
What We Look For
* Proven experience in sales and/or marketing processes – particularly within human services
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver outcomes – including stakeholders with diverse communication needs
* Proven ability to identify, evaluate and advance business development opportunities
* Ability to identify gaps and improve business
* Ability to work the occasional weekend to attend expos etc.
Location & Working Model
This role will be based in Geelong with a hybrid working model – 3 days in the office and two days remote. The role can also be based out of Hawthorn (Vic) or Kingsgrove (NSW) with a hybrid (3 days a week on-site) model.
