Job Description About the role This is a full-time Facilities Manager role based in Ballarat. As Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient operation and maintenance of various properties, ensuring a safe, comfortable and productive environment for all occupants. This is a strategic role that plays a crucial part in supporting Sodexo's overall business objectives. What you'll be doing Overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of assigned properties, including coordinating and supervising external contractors and service providers Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to ensure building systems and equipment are operating at optimal efficiency Managing facility budgets, monitoring expenditure and identifying opportunities for cost savings Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations Liaising with building occupants, stakeholders and external service providers to address issues and implement improvements What we're looking for Significant experience (5 years) in a Facilities Management role, ideally within an GMP environment (desired) Strong knowledge of Hard and Soft services, maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements Excellent project management, problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to read and interpret building plans, technical specifications and maintenance manuals Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills What we offer At Sodexo, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and inclusive work environment that enables them to thrive.
