Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand/Supervisor to join our project team for a local feedlot assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage daily operations on the construction site;
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes;
* Develop and implement strategies to improve work efficiency and safety standards;
* Mentor and train junior staff members in relevant skills and procedures;
* Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions;
* Collaborate with external stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and resolve any issues that may arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a leading hand/supervisor in the construction industry;
* Demonstrated knowledge of civil engineering principles, environmental regulations, and relevant legislation;
* A General Construction Induction (White) Card and relevant Rii's where required;
* A valid Open, Unrestricted Driver's Licence;
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
* Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
