Are you an experienced Accountant looking to join a stable, reputable, and expanding national bus distributor? We're seeking a motivated finance professional to join our team in Eagle Farm and play a key role in supporting our day-to-day accounting operations.
About the Role
We supply high-quality bus solutions across Australia and are looking for someone who can bring, organisation, and strong financial acumen to our busy finance function. This is a hands‑on role where you'll work closely with management and contribute to the smooth running of our national operations.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Accounts payable, accounts receivable & general ledger maintenance
2. Bank, inventory, and supplier reconciliations
3. BAS, GST, PAYG and statutory compliance
4. Monthly financial reporting and support for year‑end processes
5. Payroll processing and employee record maintenance
6. Fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
7. Managing import and landed cost reconciliations
8. Assisting with budgeting, forecasting & cash‑flow management
* Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
* 3+ years' accounting experience
* Experience in automotive, transport, machinery, or distribution sectors is a bonus
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Confident with accounting systems (Xero, MYOB, ERP systems etc.)
* Intermediate–advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Strong communication and customer service skills
