Are you an experienced Accountant looking to join a stable, reputable, and expanding national bus distributor? We're seeking a motivated finance professional to join our team in Eagle Farm and play a key role in supporting our day-to-day accounting operations.
About the Role
We supply high-quality bus solutions across Australia and are looking for someone who can bring accuracy, organisation, and strong financial acumen to our busy finance function. This is a hands‐on role where you'll work closely with management and contribute to the smooth running of our national operations.
What You'll Be Doing
* Accounts payable, accounts receivable & general ledger maintenance
* Bank, inventory, and supplier reconciliations
* BAS, GST, PAYG and statutory compliance
* Monthly financial reporting and support for year‐end processes
* Payroll processing and employee record maintenance
* Fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
* Managing import and landed cost reconciliations
* Assisting with budgeting, forecasting & cash‐flow management
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
* 3+ years' accounting experience
* Experience in automotive, transport, machinery, or distribution sectors is a bonus
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Confident with accounting systems (Xero, MYOB, ERP systems etc.)
* Intermediate–advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Strong communication and customer service skills
