Bitumen Sprayer Driver / Operator – Locally Owned and operated business
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Bitumen Sprayer Driver to join our road surfacing crew. You will be responsible for the safe operation of bitumen spray trucks to apply hot bitumen on road surfaces, ensuring even distribution and high-quality asphalt adhesion. You will work as part of a tight-knit team on various infrastructure and road construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate bitumen sprayer.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks, complete pre-start reports, and adhere to strict on-site safety protocols.
• Ensure accurate application rates and complete all required paperwork and logbooks efficiently.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately.
What We’re Looking For
• Current HC Truck Licence (essential).
• A valid Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence and a Construction Induction (White) Card.
• Previous experience in bitumen spraying, spray seal, or civil road construction.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, nights, and travel or stay away for project work as required.
• A strong commitment to safety, a positive \"can-do\" attitude, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
