About the Role:
The Podiatrist will serve as the primary point of contact for all potential patients, offering a responsive service to guide them through the initial consultation process and into ongoing care. This role is responsible for implementing a structured intake process that assesses patients' foot and lower limb health, identifies treatment needs, and ensures eligibility for services. The position also involves the coordination and management of patient referrals to relevant podiatry services and external healthcare providers as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, efficient, patient-centered, and evidence-based podiatry assessments.
- Communicate effectively within the healthcare ecosystem to achieve the best patient outcomes.
- Apply clinical knowledge to provide accurate diagnosis, risk assessment, and treatment plans for patients within the community.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans while considering the physical, psychological, and social aspects of patient health.
- Effectively manage patient referrals, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Requirements:
- Relevant degree qualification in Podiatry.
- Current registration with the AHPRA.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Podiatrist, Graduates also welcome!
- Experience working in a clinical setting with a focus on risk assessment and patient care.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building rapport, patient education, advocacy, and support.
