About the Role : WorkPac is seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to join Rio Tinto in Paraburdoo. You will be a key member of the Autonomous System Development team, providing end-user input for the Right Size Autonomous Truck Project, and utilizing the Wenco FMS and Scania Autonomous products to manage material movement as per the Mine Plan.
Responsibilities and Duties : Operate the mine's fleet management system to dispatch mining equipment efficiently. Collaborate with the system development team to align system needs with the material movement shift plan. Monitor machine health and coordinate maintenance and operations. Ensure accurate and timely collection, input, and communication of information. Assist with projects related to mine process monitoring and automation. Manage mining control-related projects. Participate in reliability improvement initiatives. Propose cost-saving and operational efficiency measures. Skills & Experience Required : At least 12 months of surface mining operations experience. Experience in a mine control room environment. FMS application experience with Wenco, Komatsu Modular / Frontrunner, Caterpillar MineStar is advantageous. Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and word processing tools. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. C Class Driver's License.
